Description
Iris Nijenhuis designs are mainly ready-to-wear but you can puzzle your own customized piece during her DIY-workshops in her atelier in Amsterdam. Combine your favorite colors in a cheerful bracelet, a pair of earrings or puzzle your own necklace in a unique shape. One base, but no definite shape. Nothing is pre-determined; it is only suggested. The collection is for the curious, triggers personal fantasy and invites to interpretate the options freely. It’s suitable for ages 10 to 100.
Workshop location and duration
In general the workshops are hosted at Iris’ atelier at Prinseneiland 24-A1.
For bigger groups its also possible to organize a workshop on location.
In 2,5 hours you be guided into making your own wearable accessory.
The DIY flower might take a little longer depending on your speed, it’s possible to do the finishing touch at home if necessary.
Prices
For the price of €80,- various options can be chosen:
– The Classic necklace UNI or MULTI
– The Mini’s or Maxi’s earrings + The Slim bracelet
– The Slim bracelet 2x (optional + The pin brooch for +€10,-)
– The Wide or Snake bracelet + The Pin brooch
For the price of €115,- you can make the Rosette necklace

Can’t decide yet?
Don’t worry, you can decide on the spot. Select the option ‘I don’t know yet’ and after a tour through the atelier and trying on some pieces you can make a final decision.
Workshop dates
We try to keep this page updated with available dates, but surely there are more options to find a date that matches all of our schedules. So please do not hesitate to suggest other options.
With a group of minimal 5 participants you can also book a private session.
If you have booked a date and the minimum amount of participants is not reached on that date, we will reschedule your booking to a new date that suits you.
Online workshops
We are working on this option. This would require for you to purchase a DIY-kit including all the parts you need and we plan an online session to assemble it together.
